Community Benefits

Energy storage development is good for the communities where they’re built by offering economic benefits such as tax dollars that go towards roads, schools and first responders.

The project is expected to create approximately 100 construction jobs as well as continuous operations and maintenance jobs over its 40-year lifetime.

The project site plan also reserves prime space adjacent to the highway for commercial development.

On top of these economic benefits, Peregrine proudly invests heavily in the communities where operational and believes these communities know best as to where dollars should be spent.

Peregrine already plans to contribute additional funding to League City Fire Department, City Police Department, Clear Creek ISD, and more.

Peregrine has awarded scholarships to 28 students supporting women in engineering, veterans in engineering, first-generation college students, parents, and local League City residents

Energy storage projects provide back-up power to homes and businesses, limit power outages, make our electric grid more stable and enable our communities to run on reliable, affordable energy.
